Old Magic

December 2007 issue

Photography Mariano Vivanco
Models Julian Hennig, Claudia Seiler

Homotography,  a must-see blog in it's own right, has recently brought to our minds this edit, originally published four years ago by the fashionable British style mag Dazed and Confused.

At the time, the unbeatable Vivanco/ Formichetti  team had turned up with these wonderful images.
I couldn't help but posting them here on my blog for my readers to enjoy.

Zombie Nation

Zombie Nation
2008

Photography Mariano Vivanco
.Models Sam Jadwat, Stuart Jones, Joshua Blount

Homotography retrieves this glorious edit originally published in the debut issue of Vogue Hommes Japan in 2008.

I hadn't seen it before and, as I'm pretty sure many of my readers haven't either, I'm happy to share it with you all.

I'm sure many will be thrilled by it's Goth-dark, gloomy edge.

Life is a Cabaret

Photography Mariano Vivanco
Fashion Director Nicola Formichetti
Hair Peter Gray
Make Up Maki Ryoke
Set Prop Design Christopher Stone

Images from the old nightspot. The magnificent Vivanco-Formichetti team take us to a weird but enthralling world in an editorial recently published in the Ninth issue of Hercules Magazine

This fanciful erotic detour includes all kinds of off-the-beaten-track sexual practices  including, of course, cross-dressing and fetishism, as well as a visit to some aging night divas and nacked male models.

I've selected just some of the pics. You can see the rest at the Mariano's blog:

Mariano's Luke

"Forever Luke", recently posted by photographer Mariano Vivanco in his blog:
I guess it's Luke Worrall behind the canine mask, and I suppose he was styled in a fuchsia pink skirt and heels by the lensman himself.

Sunny day, huh?

Mariano Vivanco photographed model Luke Worrall in bright, contrasting colors, displaying some body paint, and wearing an uncredited but delightfully funny pair of sunglasses.
