Keeping Up with Hana
![]() |
| Above: A custom-made "switcheroo" for Meadham Kirchhoff x Topshop: It makes me wonder how things might look if gender-less clothing were actually the norm, not the exception. |
Hana Pesut
I'm sure most of my readers know Hana Pesut, the Canadian photographer who is growing more and more famous for a simple, yet very original idea: taking shooting a couple as the switch garments.
She calls her project, appropriately enough, "switcheroo".
The results are fascinating, to say the least. In fact, I've posted several of her pics in this blog.
Below: one of her latest "swticheroos", shot in Tokyo last August.
Besides, Hana's work has been featured in mains stream magazines, such as Elle Canada,
she published a book, which you can order on-line, and she has several prints of her pictures for sale.

The Men Under the Influence
Jon Uriarte
Photography
In an attempt to depict how gender relationships have changed since our parent’s generation, Spanish photographer Jon Uriarte came up with this brilliant set, showing young [heterosexual] men dressed in their girlfriends' clothing, shot in the intimacy of their shared home.
Is it only me, or do us guys usually look better after switching clothes?
