From the smith's shop

Something like a cross-breed between a apron and a skirt, these garments, built in dark denim, seem to have been inspired by an old fashioned butcher's shop.
Their designer, Justin Smith Esquire, renown for his caps and hats (some of which feature in the collection), further spotlights that image by the use of blood-like red stains below the knees. Was that his intention? That's anyone's guess... Oh, these designers!
The garbs look great, anyways.

Brother Sun?

This nice-draping garment, featured in "Absolution", this season's collection by the Dutch designer Francisco van Benthum, turned out to be not a skirt, but some sort of apron. The designer claims that he drew his inspiration from the ritual clothes worn by priests, cardinals , bishops and choirboys . Funny, huh?
