"There is nothing masculine about being reserved, if anything it is the singularly most emasculating thing I can think of. Menswear needs to be dazzling again, I think that is what we should strive for", says Royal College of Art graduate Kim Choong-Wilkins.
The 26-year-old designer is well known for his men's knitwork in "hard and glistening (fabrics), with aggressively distinctive shapes, nothing nice or polite", which include sharp or jutting elements or broad protruding shoulders which, one could claim, have certain punk or gothic undertones.
Here he has chosen to combine one of such cactus-sleeved, "turtle-neck" jumpers with a nice black leather skirt.
