Following Karl

Karl Leuterio

I've been following this Philippine designer and blogger since I first started with my own blog.
I always take pleasure in his designs for his own label, Paradigm Shift, as well as the beautiful footwear and accessories he creates for Gold Dot

Besides, his blog is always amusing, fun to read and informative.
But I must confess that I particularly enjoy his own looks, which can also be appreciated at Lookbook
(His high-heel collection in particular is quite enviable).

You can also become a fan of his:
Follow his blog, Inkarlcerating
Befriend him in Facebook
Hype him at Lookbook

Get Well, Karl!

Philippine designer and blogger Karl Leuterio, footwear designer for Gold Dot and founder of ParadigmShift Clothing, is one of my favorite daily visits. I've learned from his own personal blog, Inkarlcerating, that he has recently suffered a knee injury, so I'm wishing him a prompt and complete recovery.

I hope he'll soon be able to run and jog again, activities he misses so much.
Even in those heavenly high-heeled wedges of his!

Get well soon, Karl!

Blanc Sandals by Karl

Blanc for Gold Dot

Among the most beautiful men sandals I've seen recently, I must count Blanc's Emi espadrilles, designed by this rising Philippine designer who also happens to be one of my favorite bloggers.

The shoes come in unique tones:
shiny black, gold and silver

They can be ordered on-line at Gold Dot for incredibly low prizes: 995 Philippine Pesos which, at the present-day currency exchange, amounts to no more than US $ 25 ( some 18 Euros).

For those of us who are not hand-bag guys, Karl has also designed an expandable envelope-clutch (above, adorned with manly nuts and bolts)... The bags match the footwear, of course.

I'd have no problem in wearing his Esmée flats also (seen above), a shoe he's designed for the ladies.
After all, I've seen him wearing them!
But then... I have small feet.
These, alas, don't come in the larger sizes.

Blogger Update

My favorite personal bloggers have been dashing with activity lately, displaying their tremendous imaginativeness and dynamism. But what I'm particularly fond of, are the images they post of themselves. These are just a few, but worth a thousand words each!

Joey's wearing  Vintage West top and wrap-skirt,  and Church shoes.

The inventive Philippine nurse-turned-fashion designer is dressed in a blue Oxigen top, COS skirt worn over Topshop pants, and showing off the most wonderful Asian Vogue high-heeles boots.

He's displaying his new, ample Cosmic Wonder Light Source shirt, combined with Comme des Garçons drop-crotch pants.

This guy prefers not to post his every-day outfits (one wonders how creative they might be!), but rather shares with all of us his "dressing-up" sessions which, needless to say, amuse me very much.
These are a few of his most recent exercises in styling creativity.
The pieces go from a DIY gauze dress to as Japanese robe worn as a skirt.
Most of the items are second had: so much for creative recycling!

I also enjoy Paak's pics in which he shares his daily outfit.
He posts almost every day!
Here he's wearing a Des.sert biker jacket, Jimmy Chu leather leggings and Gee' WaWa "claw" boots.

This gorgeous lad has finally been featured as a model in a professional photo session (it was about time! see above), but I wonder if I don't prefer his own more simple pics, the ones in which he shows his incredible skills for makeup.

Well, these are just a few of my faves. I'll leave the rest for another "blogger update".
Check them out!
