We were talking about spicing-up a tuxedo or smoking suit (see: Formal wear updated). We were combining the jacket with long black skirts instead of pants (an anonymous reader proposed a shorter kilt).
Well, another thing we could do is to modernize the top. What about beautiful white, cross- buttoned jacket with the customary satin lapels, only that... with prints!?
I agree: no tie is necessary... but what about a discreet necklace worn under the shirt?
