Attending a Fashion Show

G-Dragon

South Korea's pop icon, rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and model Kwon Ji Yong, better knowns as G-Dragon, was spotted sitting in the first row of Juun.J's receny fashion show.

He showed up wearing a suit, appropriately enough; likewise befittingly, he had his hair dyed pink and combined his outfiy with a cool pair of cross-shape dangle earrings.

That's the way to go!

More Candy, More!

Most of my followers are already aware that Candy, the world's first "trans-versal" magazine is out, and has reached it's third issue.

The launch has been advertised by means of this video (above), publicizing all the big names included in it's almost 400 pages: Jackie Collins, Jenny Shimizu, Kabuki, Lea T. and Andrej Pejic.

The first fashion magazine "dedicated to celebrating transvestism, transexuality, crossdressing and androgyny in all their glory", according to it's publisher, Luis Venegashas a limited edition of (...alas!) only 1000 copies.

So you better rush, and get your own copy on-line

The publication features the inimitable Andrej Pejic (above).

As a special feature, the magazine includes a dossier on the Italian pop singer Mina.
It displays some of the gender-transgressive album-covers designed for the diva by the legendary photographer Mauro Balletti

Happy Birthday, Miyavi!

artificialheartbeat:

Happy birthday MIYAVI!!! <3

Miyavi

My postings of celeb recording artists and entertainers and their unconventional fashions have been a great success.
As a matter of fact, they are among the most visited entries of this blog.

This time I'm posting a pic of the Japanese artist Takamasa Ishihara, better known as Miyavi, since today is his birthday.

I was reminded of his anniversary by

Via

The Osaka born vocalist and guitarist, who rose to stardom as a member of the super-band S.K.I.N., has taken the Nippon media by storm not only because of the sound of  "Kabuki Rock", but also on account of his unusual, gender-bending looks.

What I love the most, is the way in which he incorporates  several features of his traditional culture into his overall looks:
