Blogger Update: Victor & Wiktor, Bryanboy, Joey, Mike

So, what are my favorite bloggers up to? Time for another "blogger update"!

Victor Blanco

Victor was the main feature of El Dominical, El Periodico's Newspaper Sunday supplement.
The article chose a few fashion bloggers who simply spoke up, among them my fave wearing his trademark stilettos, this time bright, un-concealable red.

He has published the complete, very entertaining story... but in Spanish only.

Bryanboy

Minimarket Spring Summer 2011

During his stay in Sweden, blogosphere celebrity and non-stop traveler Bryanboy payed a  visit to the Patriksson showroom, where he browsed through several Scandinavian designers. He ended up trying on this wonderful printed spring coat by Minimarket.

Wiktor

Gorgeous Wiktor, a professional model,  is always posting images of his own dazzling looks. And that's enough for him to have a complete army of followers and admirers around the globe.
He tastefully styles himself, toying with different garments, always elegant and refreshing.

Joey

The same goes for my newly discovered Joey M, who's displaying here a beautiful (and I dare say quite manly)  Vivianne Westwood animal-print dress.

His daily fashion experiments are all worth seeing.

Mikey is wearing one of his wonderful skirts here, somewhere around Manila. He and his pal Karl are working on a new promising enterprise. I've already referred to it in my last "update":

For those of us who can read Spanish:
Stylist and fashion expert Victor Blanco has just been interviewed by the Spanish newspaper  El Mundo about his experiences as a high-heel wearing male.

"You're no less of a man when you wear high-heels or makeup", he says.
He published the complete interview in his blog:

Blogger Update

Some of us talk about "New Males", about innovative, groundbreaking fashions for the Alternative Man. But do we, as forward-looking fashion bloggers, actually "dress our part"? Do we wear unusual pieces of clothing, such as, let's say, skirts or high heeled shoes in "real life"?

Well, I'm posting images of two of my favorite fashion bloggers who allow themselves to wear fancy, original fashions. In fact, some of the garments could be categorized as "feminine" by traditional standards.

The contents of their blogs is not necessarily "mens fashion freedom".
Actually, they write about fashion pure and simple.
You should pay them a visit:

Frequently visited by me, celebrity blogger Bryanboy is a fine example of a web-log author who preaches by example. In spite of his youth, his blog is often listed among the world's most influential trend-setters:

Spanish stylist Victor Blanco is also a frequent source for my own postings.
He was announcing an upcoming website wearing, of course, a pair of wonderful high heeled stilettos:

The link annouced there seems to be broken, but he does have a new blog,
in which he shows up with these Manolo Blaniks:

Con la Preciosa Zina de FASHIONVIBE

His former blog was:

And there are many, many more "fashion-free" bloggers out there, of course, specially among the younger generation.
They often post beautiful images of themselves and/or their work.
That means that I'll have to bring up this topic several more times!

Having uploaded pics of my peers, I feel obliged to post my own image, so here I am, about to begin working on a new project:

Blogger shoes

Some fellow bloggers have been displaying their new footwear (again!).
I guess you know them well, by now.
Most notably, William (top) out again in his balcony wearing low-crotch pants, Cody (below) in his unmistakable looks:

and, as might be expected, Victor Blanco in a Ana Locking suit during the opening of W Hotel in Barcelona. His heels are by Jimmy Choo:

Dressing the part

I'll be referring today to some of my favorite "fashion-bloggers", the ones who write about fashion and style. Often, just as I do in this blog, they promote "male fashion freedom", that is, the liberty for us men to wear items traditionally considered "too feminine" or otherwise "inappropiate" for the gentlemen.

One might wonder, do they actually do as they preach? Do they really go out in high-heels and skirts? What are they wearing as they blog?

These are just a few authors of the many blogs I enjoy:

Yolos, a model who administers the group

And well, at this point I guess I't only fair to include a pic of my own style, isn't it?
I'm no model, and the shot is anything but professional, but I think it's not that bad.

I know I'm leaving a lot of people out.
There are many wonderful blogs out there whose authors are also "free-dressers", but not all of them publish their pics or haven't done so recently.
Is there anybody in particular you'd like me to include? I'm sure there are some good blogs I'm even unaware of! Tell me about them!
Do you want to share a photo of yourself? Sure! Send in the pics!

Victor's "Tacones Lejanos"

Fashion advisor and frequent blogger Victor Blanco is attending the Madrid Fashion Week in his wonderful black, open-back high heels:

Or will he rather be strolling along Cibeles square in his open-toe white zebra-print stilettos?
Keep us posted, Victor...

Unforgettable: Victor's shoes

Spanish stylist and fashion consultant Victor Blanco is not only one of my all-time favorite fashion bloggers, but he is also admirable for his own fashionable and oddly refined style, singled out particularily by his elegant, gorgeous stilettos, combined with not always matching handbags and purses which, nontheless, give him an overall harmonious, and balanced look.

His page is worth visiting:
as well as his blog (check out my links on the right)
Victor's shopping friend in this pic is Aldo Bologna, also in spikes.
They were shot at the NY Fashion Week:
