Andrej deserves the cover of GQ Australia, being that he's Australian and the most famous male model in the world. But androgyny phobia stands in the way of that happening, sorry to say.
But I don't think this pink-suited model is Andrej. I believe it's a girl impersonating him; the cheekbones are not strong enough and the neck is too thin. But it's a fairly good likeness, although not totally convincing.
Has anyone noticed that Andrej is wearing a women's suit for a men's magazine. While the waistcoat is buttoned left over right, the pants and jacket both close right over left.
Keen observation, my anonymous friend. I own a pair of supposedly "women's" suits myself. They decidedly give me a more slender, elegant figure than men suits would ever do. Any drawbacks? Maybe a smaller one: they button left-over-right.
I don't believe this is a real GQ cover. The date is Oct/Nov. 2013 - that's 4 months from now. Magazines don't release, or even decide, their covers that far in advance. This is a fake cover with a fake Andrej, but it's interesting none-the-less. They say "imitation is the highest form of flattery."
Andrej's face is more angular and his neck is thicker than this model. If it is him, the photo has been heavily retouched to make him look softer, more delicate and more feminine. But I strongly suspect this is a fantasy GQ cover with a girl pretending to be Andrej. I love the outfit though - very classy.
Now that's a spectacular GQ cover - but it's imaginary of course.

ReplyDeletelol, that's a fake! But a good one. Believe it's from the Rosa Clara Bridal poses and apart from the neck, that's his face. He's just that pretty!
