Fascinating as ambiguity can be, Gwen Lu's beauteous androgyny is certainly enthralling, particularly when he shows up armored in this strange paraphernalia. Whatever the use of the gear may be is open to debate,  but it certainly adds up to the gorgeousness of the model.

Golden Sadak

The masks will probably not make it to the streets, but many features of Serbian designer Sasa Kovacevic's collection may be atractive to the everyday layman. I love the use of golden fabrics, the zigzagging patterns, the trasparencies, the Balkan references... and those golden sandals are worth dying for!

His label, Sadak, presented the set at the Berlin Fashion Week.

Guy Skirts!

Just like I do, Jean Guy  manufactures kilts and male-skirts (that is, "un-bifurcated" garments, as opposite to "bifurcated" trousers) specially designed taking into account the anatomical and morphological characteristics of us males. 
But unlike myself, he has them for sale on line!


The designs are fantastic, quite masculine by conventional standards (not always the case with my skirts!), obviously comfortable, and they come in every imaginable shape: traditional kilts, sarongs, Kendo-skirts, "cowboy" kilts (!), knee-length, ankle-length... what-have-you!


So gentlemen, there's no need to browse through the ladies section of the store for your next skirt. All you have to do is visit Jean's site,

Spring/ summer 2011

If Ray Kawakubo gets away with it, we males will be displaying these beautifully cut, skirted attires by next year. In fact, his Japanese label presented them as part of their spring/ summer 2011 collection. I can't wait for it! 

Now, anticipating my reader's reactions: let me tell you that I don't care for those shoes either.  

Mary-janes or sandals, or even tanker boots would be such a better match!

I'm not into skull patterns either, but I guess that's only me. Besides, some other figures can work just as fine, be it flowers o geometrical shapes. 

Other than that, the garments, including the nice fitting blazers,  look gorgeous and impeccably tailored.

The ravishing, sun-flower studded pics originally appeared in the Magazine's first issue, in 2008.

On June 23th, Tom fell four floors from a window of an apartment he was residing in Milan, just hours before a scheduled show.
