Keeping Up with Hana

Above: A custom-made "switcheroo" for Meadham Kirchhoff x Topshop: It makes me wonder how things might look if gender-less clothing were actually the norm, not the exception.

Hana Pesut

I'm sure most of my readers know Hana Pesut, the Canadian photographer who is growing more and more famous for a simple, yet very original idea: taking shooting a couple as the switch garments.

She calls her project, appropriately enough, "switcheroo".

The results are fascinating, to say the least. In fact, I've posted several of her pics in this blog.

Below: one of her latest "swticheroos", shot in Tokyo last August.

Besides, Hana's work has been featured in mains stream magazines, such as Elle Canada,
she published a book, which you can order on-line, and she has several prints of her pictures for sale.

Dress 'n Skates

This is Erin's 6-year-old son. He happened to pick out this outfit for himself.
He cried in the dressing room, saying he felt "so beautiful in that dress", his mother reports. So she had to buy it!
Not only is he a young New Male, but also the fortunate son of a unprejudiced mother.
