The Dancing Skirt

From Whirling Dervishes to ballet performers, male dancers have continuously worn skirts along the centuries. For one thing, un-bifurcated garments such as tutus, kilts, fustanellas, or sarongs certainly are extremely comfortable to dance in; but mostly, they are a delight to watch in motion!

These are a few more modern and no less beautiful examples, a couple of which include not really pointes but... high heels!
